Four cups — 1 cup (250ml), 1/2 cup (125ml), 1/3 cup (80ml) and 1/4 cup (60ml). Every capacity is engraved into the metal.
Four spoons — 1 tbsp (15ml), 1 tsp (5ml), 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) and 1/4 tsp (1.25ml), engraved the same way.
Please note the cups are metric. One cup here is 250ml, which is the Australian and metric standard. A US cup is 237ml. On most cooking that difference is invisible; on baking, where ratios matter, it is worth knowing which standard your recipe was written to.

Material. Rose gold-plated stainless steel with wooden handles.
Care. Hand wash and dry straight away. Two reasons, and both matter: a plated finish is a thin layer over steel, and dishwasher detergent is exactly what wears it thin; and the wooden handles should not be soaked or heat-dried. Warm water, a cloth, done.
The handles. A wipe of food-grade mineral oil once or twice a year keeps the wood from drying out where it meets the metal.

Printed measuring cups have a shelf life: a year of washing up and the 1/3 has gone, and you are left holding an unmarked cup and guessing. These are stamped into the steel, so the marking is the same depth as the cup itself. Every capacity is there in cups and in millilitres, which saves converting mid-recipe with flour on your hands.

Down to a quarter teaspoon, which is where baking lives.
1 tbsp, 1 tsp, 1/2 tsp, 1/4 tsp. The small end is the one that matters — a quarter teaspoon out on baking powder or salt is the difference between a loaf and a doorstop, and it is exactly the measure most sets skip or round off. The bowls are narrow enough to get into a spice jar without decanting it first.

Wooden handles stay cool, do not slip when your hands are wet, and stop a set of measuring cups looking like laboratory equipment on an open shelf. The measuring end is plated steel, which is what keeps the shape true — a cup that has flexed out of round is no longer a measure of anything.

A "cup" is not one thing. This set uses the metric cup at 250ml, which is what Australian and most metric recipes mean. A US cup is 237ml. It is a five per cent difference, invisible in a stew and quite visible in a cake — so the millilitres are engraved alongside the cup markings, and you can work in whichever your recipe uses.
