Working out your drop. Over a dining table, most fitters leave 75 to 90cm between the tabletop and the bottom of the fixture. Measure floor to ceiling, subtract the table height, then subtract that gap — what is left is the drop to set. On a 240cm ceiling with a 75cm table that lands at roughly 75 to 90cm, comfortably inside the 120cm the cable gives you.

Wiring. This is a hardwired fixture — it connects to a ceiling rose, not to a plug. The mains voltage is not stated in the product record, so check the label on arrival before you connect anything. If household wiring is not your territory, an electrician will have it up in well under an hour.
Ceiling points. Worth knowing before you order: the bar does not hang from the ceiling plate alone. On the single, one end hangs from the wired plate and the other from a separate small fixing in the ceiling. On the double there are four suspension points — two from the plate and two set out from it. The outer points carry no wiring, but they do carry weight, and on the double they sit up to 150cm apart, so work out where they land before you drill.

The LED is the fixture. There is no bulb.
The strip is built into the bar, and that is a real trade-off rather than a feature to skate past. What you get: nothing to shop for, no base to match, no lamp visible from below and no glass to keep clean. What you give up: there is no bulb to change later. Colour temperature is settled at checkout — cool white, natural white or warm white — so it is a decision you make once, not a switch on the wall.

Run the 90cm bar through that and it wants a table of roughly 135 to 180cm; the 150cm double wants roughly 225 to 300cm. The wiring arrives at a slim rectangular ceiling plate — 16 × 5cm on the single, 36 × 6cm on the double, described by the manufacturer as metal under a high-temperature frosted paint. But the bar does not hang from that plate alone. The far end of the single hangs on its own small ceiling fixing, and the double adds two such points. How far below the ceiling does it hang?

Can I fit it to a sloped or vaulted ceiling?

The physics is straightforward: the cables hang vertically whatever the ceiling does, so on a slope each cable has to be shortened by a different amount to bring the bar level. Bought the double for a 240cm table and it finally reads as one line rather than three separate lights fighting each other.
The second ceiling fixing caught me out until I read the drawing properly. Ten minutes with a stud detector and it went up fine.
Warm white was the right call. It is the tone in the photographs and it suits the room after dark.
Set the drop at about 80cm above the table. Nobody gets it in the eyes across dinner, which was the whole point.
Black against a white ceiling is very clean. Switched off it looks like a line someone drew.
Went single over a 160cm table. The length is right — it lights the table and then stops.
No shade means nothing collects inside it. A wipe along the bar twice a year is the whole maintenance job.
