Collection: Home & Living

How to choose

Pieces that settle in rather than shout.

Natural materials, honest construction, and shapes that still look right in five years. Pieces you keep because you want to, not because they are still going.

  • Solid, not surfaced

Hardwood, stainless, ceramic and glass go all the way through. No laminates or veneers to lift at an edge, and nothing that looks like a material only until it chips.

  • One routine, twice a year

Dry it after washing, and give it food-grade mineral oil once or twice a year. That is the whole of it, and it is what takes hardwood from new to deepening.

  • Sets or singles

Sets are priced below the sum of their parts, which is the better route when you are furnishing from scratch. Single pieces make more sense when you are replacing one thing.

Home & living questions

Answers before you commit.

What materials do you use for home and living pieces?

Solid hardwoods, stainless steel, ceramic and glass — materials chosen because they age well and stay solid all the way through. No laminates, no veneers, no plastic composites.

How do I care for solid wood homeware?

Dry it after washing and treat it once or twice a year with food-grade mineral oil. That is the whole routine, and it is what gives hardwood its deepening colour over time.

Do these pieces work with any interior style?

Natural materials in undecorated shapes sit comfortably alongside most things. We design for the room you already have rather than for a look you would have to commit to.

Are your homeware products food-safe?

Everything intended for food contact is finished without synthetic sealants, stains or lacquers. Where a finish is used it is food-grade mineral oil.

Do you offer sets or individual pieces?

Both. Sets are priced below the sum of their parts and are the better route if you are furnishing from scratch; individual pieces make more sense when you are replacing one thing.
