Measured the table first like the page says. 190cm table, took the 120cm, and it sits inside the ends exactly the way it should.
Our electrician set the cables at 80cm above the table. You can see across it and the plates are properly lit. Worth getting that height right.
The knot in the middle is the whole point. From the head of the table it is a straight line; from the side it is a scribble. I keep noticing it.
Went with white over an island in a white kitchen. Off, you barely register it. On, the whole worktop is lit.
