The first figure is the length of the bar. The 30 cm is the height down to the lit ring at the end, which hangs a little lower than the bar and is the deepest part of the fixture.
The drop. The bar hangs from the ceiling plate on two steel cables, set to the height you want on the day of installation. The maximum length of those cables is not published, so if you are hanging this in a stairwell or under a ceiling much above three metres, ask us before ordering and we will check with the manufacturer.
Weight. The listed shipping weight is 5.05 kg for the small and 7.05 kg for the large, packaging included.

Fixing. This is a hardwired fixture with no plug. It connects to a ceiling point and wants a qualified electrician. The ceiling plate is a flat rectangle 51 cm or 70 cm long rather than a round rose cover, so it needs a straight, level run of ceiling to sit against, and it should be fixed into a joist or a rated ceiling anchor rather than into plasterboard alone.
Voltage. The manufacturer's specification lists this fixture at 220 V. If your supply is 110–120 V, speak to us before ordering and we will confirm what is fitted.
Cleaning. Clear glass looks its best with an occasional wipe. Switch the fixture off, let the lamps cool, and use a dry microfibre cloth on the globes and the iron bar.
A line you sit under, not a shape you look at.
A single iron bar runs the length of the table, and the glass globes are set off it at different heights and on alternating sides, so the composition reads as scattered rather than as a row of pendants. At one end a lit ring hangs on its own cable, a little below the bar. That ring is the piece that stops the whole thing looking like a track of bulbs, and it is why the fixture measures 30 cm tall when the bar itself is barely thicker than a finger.

Each glass globe holds its own G95 lamp — the round 95 mm sort — rather than a sealed panel behind a diffuser. The manufacturer supplies them with the fixture: seven with the 90 cm bar, ten with the 120 cm. They arrive warm, and because they sit in the globes as separate parts, the character of that half of the fixture stays a decision you can make again in five years. One caveat we will not paper over: the base type is not printed on the manufacturer's specification, so look at what is fitted before you order spares.

The manufacturer's size drawings give it plainly: 90 x 30 cm for the small, 120 x 30 cm for the large. The long figure is measured along the bar; the 30 cm is the height of the lit ring at the end. The number most people forget is the ceiling plate — 51 cm long on the small and 70 cm on the large. It is a flat rectangle, not a round rose cover, so it wants a straight run of level ceiling to sit against. Worth knowing before the electrician arrives rather than after.

The lamps in the globes are warm — that is what the manufacturer's size cards say and what every photograph of it shows. The ring at the end is lit along its face and is built into the fixture rather than being a lamp you fit yourself. Beyond that, plainly: wattage, colour temperature in kelvin and dimmer compatibility are not published for this piece, and the three-colour option mentioned in the listing text does not appear on the manufacturer's size cards. So we are not going to promise you a tri-colour remote or a wall dimmer. If dimming is the reason you are buying, ask us first and we will find out before you order.
