Sizes
Sizes
- Regular — 20cm across the top, 15cm base, 5cm deep, 15.6cm handle. One or two eggs, a piece of fish, a small omelette.
- Large — 26cm across the top, 19.3cm base, 5.2cm deep, 18cm handle. A family omelette, four pieces of chicken, a pan of vegetables.
Pans are measured across the top; the base is what actually sits on the heat, so both figures are given.
Hob compatibility
Hob compatibility
Suitable for gas, electric, ceramic and halogen hobs.
On induction: the manufacturer lists it as induction-compatible, but the base in the photographs shows no separate ferromagnetic disc and we have not been able to confirm it independently. If you cook on induction, check with us before ordering rather than taking the icon on trust.
Oven: not stated by the manufacturer, and the handle is a moulded wood-effect grip rather than bare metal. Treat this as a hob pan.

Never metal. Use wood, silicone or nylon. A metal turner will scratch any non-stick coating, and once it is scratched the coating is finished. This is the single thing that decides whether the pan lasts two years or ten.
Low to medium heat. Ceramic non-stick does not want a searing heat and does not need one. High heat is what degrades the coating fastest.
Hand wash, and let it cool first. Dropping a hot pan into cold water warps a base. We would not put it in a dishwasher regardless of what the old copy claimed — detergent is hard on any non-stick.
A little oil. Non-stick still works better with a film of oil, and it protects the surface.

Non-stick, if you treat it properly.
Non-stick, and worth protecting.
A ceramic non-stick surface releases an egg or a fillet of fish without a slick of oil under it, which is the whole reason to own one. It is also a coating, and coatings are finished the moment something metal drags across them. Everything about looking after this pan comes down to that one fact.
- Food releases cleanly
- Nothing metal, ever
- A little oil still helps
This is the pan our wooden turners are for.
We sell teak and acacia utensils because wood cannot scratch a pan coating and will not melt against a hot edge. This is the product where that stops being a nice idea and becomes the difference between a pan that lasts a decade and one you replace next year. Buy the pan, buy a wooden turner, and never put metal in it.
- Wood or silicone only
- Wood cannot scratch a coating
- Will not melt on a hot edge
20cm for one, 26cm for the table.
The 20cm is the weekday pan — an egg, a piece of fish, an omelette for one, and small enough to wash without thinking. The 26cm takes a family omelette, four chicken thighs or a proper pan of vegetables. Both are given as the width across the top with the base diameter alongside, since the base is what actually meets the heat.
- 20cm top, 15cm base
- 26cm top, 19.3cm base
- Same coating in both
Questions
Frequently asked about this pan
Can I use metal utensils in it?
No, and this is the most important thing on the page. Metal scratches any non-stick coating, and a scratched coating is a finished coating. Use wood, silicone or nylon — our teak spatulas exist for exactly this.
Does it work on induction?
The manufacturer lists it as induction-compatible, but the base in the photographs shows no separate ferromagnetic disc and we have not confirmed it ourselves. If induction is your hob, ask us before ordering rather than relying on the icon.
Can it go in the oven?
No oven temperature is stated by the manufacturer, and the handle is a moulded wood-effect grip rather than bare metal. Treat it as a hob pan.
Is it dishwasher safe?
The old copy said so and we would not. Detergent is hard on any non-stick surface. Let it cool, then hand wash it — it takes seconds because nothing sticks to it.
What heat should I use?
Low to medium. Ceramic non-stick does not want a searing heat and does not need one; high heat is what degrades a coating fastest. If you want a hard sear, use a steel or cast-iron pan.
What are the two sizes?
20cm across the top with a 15cm base, and 26cm across the top with a 19.3cm base. Pans are sold by the top measurement, but the base is what sits on the heat, so both are given.
Do I still need oil?
A little, yes. Non-stick works better with a thin film of oil and it protects the surface at the same time.
What if I'm not satisfied?
Thirty days to change your mind, no hassle. If it is not right we will put it right.
Quality has a cost. Middlemen shouldn't.
Real customers. Real hobs.
Eggs slide out with almost no oil. That is all I wanted from it.
Bought the teak turner at the same time on their advice. Coating still perfect.
Straight that it should not go in the dishwasher. Other listings say the opposite.
The 26cm does a family omelette without crowding.
Light enough to handle one-handed, which cast iron never is.
Low heat as suggested and it cooks perfectly well.
Handle stays cool on a gas ring.
Both sizes now. The little one gets used every morning.
Washes in about ten seconds because nothing sticks.
