Measure from the ceiling you are fixing to, straight down to the point where you want the lowest cone to sit, then leave the headroom you want beneath it above the landing or the treads. Can I shorten the drop?
Yes. The supplier rates both configurations as adjustable and every cone hangs on its own suspension cable, so 245cm and 300cm are maximums rather than fixed lengths and the cascade can be set shorter and staggered to suit the void. A minimum drop is not published, so if you need a very short hang, ask us first.
Will it work with my existing wall dimmer?
